2. Not Financial or Tax Advice

This is important: generated invoices, receipts, and other financial documents are for informational purposes only. InvoiceKit is a document formatting tool, not an accounting service. The documents we help you create may not comply with the specific invoicing, tax, or regulatory requirements of your jurisdiction.

You are solely responsible for verifying that any invoice, receipt, or financial document you generate meets your local legal and tax requirements. We strongly recommend that you verify tax compliance with your accountant or financial advisor before using generated documents in official business transactions.

InvoiceKit does not verify the accuracy of the numbers, rates, or calculations you input. If you enter incorrect tax rates, wrong amounts, or inaccurate client information, the resulting document will reflect those errors.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use InvoiceKit only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Generate fraudulent invoices or documents intended to deceive
• Create documents that misrepresent goods or services not actually provided
• Use the tools for money laundering, tax evasion, or other financial crimes
• Attempt to interfere with the site's functionality, scrape content at scale, or reverse-engineer our tools for commercial redistribution
• Use automated scripts to generate documents in bulk without our permission

4. Intellectual Property

Documents you generate using our tools are yours. We claim no ownership over the content of invoices, receipts, or other documents you create. The data you enter and the PDFs you produce belong entirely to you.

5. Limitation of Liability

InvoiceKit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that our tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular business purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InvoiceKit and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or any documents generated through it. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from incorrect calculations, formatting errors, tax miscalculations, missed deadlines, or any business losses connected to the use of our generated documents.

If a generated document contains errors — whether due to a bug in our tool or data you entered — responsibility for verifying accuracy before use rests with you.

6. No Account Required

InvoiceKit does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign up in any way. You can use all tools immediately upon visiting the site. Because there is no account system, we have no mechanism to recover lost documents or restore previous sessions.
